Reise entlang der Ostküste Koreas, an den Küsten Japans und Sachalins zur
Erforschung der Fischereiverhältnisse. Auf dieser Expedition
kommt er am 29. Mai 1900 nach Wonsan. Von dort aus bereist er das Diamantengebirge
und erreicht im Dez. Seoul. Von Chemulpo aus führt die Expedition weiter
nach Japan, wo er die Küstenfauna erforscht.
